Delivering Love

Forgive my absence yesterday but we were otherwise occupied by the arrival of this 7lb 2oz bundle of loveliness into our world and our family .

Baby Elsie has been here but 24hours and already we cannot imagine the world without her in it . She was a child much prayed over, much desired by so many people who will call her “theirs” in her lifetime . She is special , beautiful and the glorious epitome of something miraculously good coming from something not so great .

Rather fittingly her name means “pledged to God” . And so she has been and shall be . Already her quiet and still spirit has brought healing to hearts and has soothed weary souls . She is a gift of the most precious proportions.

So this rather short post is one of incredible thankfulness for a baby safely delivered . For promises kept and for a future as yet to unfold before us . Baby Elsie , twinkle twinkle little star , you must always know how loved you are .
